Five of the Best Changing Bags

Five of the Best Changing Bags

October 2014

Here at Project-B, we just love a good changing bag. That’s because we know from experience that it can make all the difference when you’re juggling a little one with a smelly bottom whilst on the go!

Here the Project-B team have put a few different bags through their paces. Here’s what we thought:

1. Pink Lining

www.pinklining.com/uk/

If you’re a fan of all things pretty, then Pink Lining is the brand for you. With a beautiful wide collection which includes none other than eleven different styles of changing bags!  What we like about Pink Lining is that out of those eleven, there is something to suit every lifestyle. This includes an ‘On The Run’ bags (RRP £30, here: www.pinklining.com/uk/mum-on-the-run-wise-owl) for out of the door dashing, to ‘Twins Bags’ for when there are two or more bottoms to change. In general Pink Lining are a gorgeous company selling gorgeous products at really good prices (and check out their children’s bags too – you won’t be able to resist!).  So well worth logging on to their website for a look.

2. Lin & Leo

This British Company based on London was established over 10 years ago and is going strong with a whole host of awards for its stunning and stylish product – The BabyBag. Believing that having a baby shouldn’t mean you compromise on style, The BabyBag comes in a range of beautiful colours, from black, chocolate brown and tan to our favourites the turquoise and the red!  So if you’re a little sad that your designer handbag is to be relegated to the top of your wardrobe for a while, then this is the product for you.

3. Cath Kidston

She needs no introduction – it’s the nation’s favourite home and gift company Cath Kidston. Reliably good in term of style and function Cath Kidston has a small range of practical changing bags. Weighing in at RRP £65, they’re not the cheapest you’ll find but we just love the fact they create more boy-friendly changing bags (look-wise that is) with the iconic Cowboy print and their new themes – check out their ‘Stop Thief Fold Over Tote Nappy Bag’ here – we love it!: http://www.cathkidston.com/stop-thief!-fold-over-tote-nappy-bag//cath-kidston/fcp-product/1013592

4. Tan & Teal

For those discerning mums-to-be, Tan & Teal is the brand to see. At RRP £220, they’re not going to be for everyone, but there is no doubt that their simplistic beauty and practical interior is a winning combination.  Hand made in the UK from soft calf’s leather, it’s a bag which will last a lifetime and can be used well beyond its changing bag status. Stylish, simple, classic.

5. Pacapod

www.pacapod.com

If you’re a super mum who likes to be super organised then this is the brand for you!  All of their bags have a unique 3 in 1 pod system (hence the name) which includes a changing pod, feeding pod and changing mat. Coming with across the body straps as well as buggy straps they are all wipes clean. Their classic nappy bags have a real utilitarian feel which dads will love – we particularly like this old school Hastings bag (RRP £85) http://www.pacapod.com/hastings-changing-bag-201.html.

Of course, there are hundreds of changing bags out there and we’ve only mentioned five here.  If you have a changing bag you’ve found brilliant, then share by sending us a photo to our Facebook page!
